This year's Akehurst GetTogether

will be held

11-13 September 2020

at the University of Kent, Canterbury

Events kick off informally on the evening of Friday, 11 September, when those of us staying in Canterbury will meet for socialising and dinner. Even if you're not staying in Canterbury, you are most welcome to join us.

The program includes guest speakers, an exhibition, and plenty of time for swapping information about your trees. Also, there will be a number of workshop sessions where the

' brains trust ' will help you with your research.

We are planning an excursion for those who arrive early on the Friday; and a number of us who are staying on the Sunday night will take the opportunity of spending Monday researching at the IHGS Library.

There is plenty of accommodation available at the University and there are many other accommodation options in Canterbury itself.

Come along, bring your family tree (and friends!), and let us see if we can help you.

Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19, and should you not be able to get to the get together, please don't hesitate to send in your trees and any questions you may have.

We will get back you on anything that is found.
